LAHORE, Aug 10: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has extended the date for the signing of central contracts from Aug 10 to 15. The PCB offered central contracts to 20 players on Aug 3, 16 out of which have already signed their contracts. The remaining players, namely Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Yousuf, Danish Kaneria and Younis Khan, have yet to sign their contracts.

“Danish Kaneria and Younis Khan are currently in the UK, playing county cricket and they will be receiving their contracts today. Abdul Razzaq and Mohammad Yousuf received the contracts just a day ago due to their being unavailable earlier,” a PCB spokesman said on Friday.

“The PCB has extended the date for signing the contracts for these four players in order to give them enough time to carefully review the contract before signing it,” he said.
