Punjab Open badminton championships

LAHORE, Aug 9: The Punjab Badminton Association (PBA) will be holding the Punjab Open badminton championships in Bahawalnagar from Aug 26 to 29. The event is being organised by the Bahawalnagar District Badminton Association.

Players interested in taking part are requested to send in their entries to the organising secretary Amjad Mala, secretary general Bahawalnagar District Badminton Association, Haider Stadium, Bahawalnagar.

The categories in the competition include men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles and women’s doubles. Liaquat Ali has been appointed chief referee.
