ISLAMABAD, Aug 8: Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Hussain on Wednesday said a comprehensive strategy would be devised to impart technical and professional training to the officers and staff of the apex court.

Speaking at the inaugural session of an in-house training for the BPS-17 and 18 officers of the court, he said training helped professional grooming and capacity building.

He said training was an ongoing process and it should continue at every level of the service.

“A highly qualified and well trained staff will be an asset of the apex court and will add to its effectiveness and efficiency,” he said.

Earlier, deputy registrar Supreme Curt Sajid Mehmood Qazi briefed the participants on the objectives of the course and described the salient features of the training.

The course has been organised under the auspices of the Secretariat Training Institute, Islamabad.—APP
