KARACHI, Aug 7: Six vessels carrying containers and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Sinar Bandung to unload and load containers, Anglita and Chemstar Brave were berthed after the departure of six.

Oel Spirit, Santa Isbella, Olympic Sponsor, Chem Rose, Royal Peridat and Dareen departed on Tuesday, while Anglita, Pacifice Champ, Sinar Bandung, Nava, Colina and Red Sea Spirit are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 90,367 tons comprising 17,140 tons of export cargo and 73,218 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Wan Hai-301, Hyundai Stride, Dimitris, Y.M. Star, Mol Asanta and Jitra Bhum with containers.
