Two killed in blast

ABBOTTABAD, March 10: At least two persons were killed and 16 were injured when a blast occurred in a circus at Old GT Stand at on Sunday.

The cause of the explosion could not be ascertained till filing of this report and the police were investigating. According to eyewitnesses, a flash was seen before a huge blast.

Pervez, son of Sadiq, died on the spot and Shoukat of Havelian died at the Ayub Medical Complex.

Of the injured, seven were admitted into Abbottabad District Headquarters Hospital: Mehboob s/o Khan Mohammad, Taimur s/o Khan Afsar, Azhar s/o Mohammad Yousaf, Suharab s/o Maqsood, Rizwan s/o Sultan, Yasir and Mumtaz . Pervez, Sajjad, Abid, Raheem, Noreen and Mohammd Arshad, Akhter Nawaz, Mohammd Rasheed and Khalid Gohar were admitted into the AMC.
