Robbers strike five times

GUJRANWALA, March 10: Robbers looted three houses and poultry farm of a Nazim of Ghakkhar union council and also took away a motorcycle in five strikes in and around the city on Sunday.

According to police, here three outlaws forced their entry into house of Sheikh Muhammad Saleem at Taj Chowk, Eminabad, and drove away with a car, cash, gold ornaments and electronics.

Four bandits entered the house of Nazir in Baghbanpura by scaling the boundary wall. They locked the inmates in a room, collected cash, gold jewellery and other goods before fleeing. They beat the householder when he offered resistance.

Five dacoits sneaked into the house of Shafiq in Rakh village, Eminabad, and took away cash, dowry of his young sister and other households.

Unidentified robbers took away 34 ceiling fans and over 100 silver pots from a poultry farm owned by Ghakkhar union council Nazim Jamila Hinjra.

Two robbers deprived Arshad of his motorcycle on GT Road.
