KHAIRPUR: Man kidnapped

KHAIRPUR, Aug 4: One person was kidnapped for ransom from Shah Hussain Chowk. Reports said one Maqbool Ahmed Khoso 22, went to Sukkur from Miano village Taluka Kingri on July 22, but did not return.

According to reports his relatives received telephone few days back with ransom demand.

Iqbal Hussain Khoso father of Maqbool lodged an FIR with Ahmedpur Police Station under section 365 PPC against unidentified persons here on Saturday night.

However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.

A gathering of Kanhar community was held on Saturday in Huso Kanhar village Taluka Kingri for the release of kidnapped primary teacher Nawab Kanhar who was kidnapped about five days back from date palm garden near Haso Kanhar village.—BoC
