Brazil can win Olympic soccer gold

SAO PAULO, Aug 3: Dunga is confident Brazil has enough young talented players to win the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics next year, the only major title the country has never won in soccer.

“It’s the title that all Brazilians want,” Dunga said. “With the players available to be summoned, we have great chances of winning it.”

Dunga, manager of the Brazilian senior side, still hasn’t been chosen as Brazil’s manager for the Olympics, but said the nation is likely to use its under-20 squad as a base for the U23 tournament in Beijing.—AP
