KARACHI, Aug 2: The Privatization Commission finalised the offering of National Bank of Pakistan shares in the international market in a meeting held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Zahid Hamid, federal minister for privatization and investment.

The financial advisor for the transaction Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and AKD Securities, gave presentation on NBP GDR (Global Depository Receipts).

They highlighted salient feature of methodology and the way forward indicating various requirements for a successful GDR transaction.

The minister stressed the need for a transparent and value maximizing process.

The timing for listing should be finalised keeping in view the completion of various formalities and considerations, including the conditions, he said.
