Passengers looted

MIANWALI, Aug 1: Three dacoits looted a Lahore-bound passenger coach on Tuesday night near Khwajaabad Sharif on Bannu-Mianwali Road, some 15km from here. Reports said three dacoits travelling in the guise of passengers suddenly took out weapons near Khawjaabad Sharif and asked driver Khaki Jan Khan to move the bus No (SGP-8888) to some deserted place.

When the dacoits were looting passengers, a police vehicle came there. The robbers opened fire as a result policemen went away. The bandits made off with cash, mobile phones and other valuables. However, the police said the robbers managed their escape with the looted valuables during an armed clash with the officials. — Correspondent
