LAHORE, July 27: The Pakistan Cricket Board has nominated Aslam Sanjrani, former federal secretary as well as chief secretary Sindh as its nominee on the ICC Code of Conduct Commission Panel.
The Commission is established as a Committee of ICC to conduct official enquiries and to investigate relevant matters. It was an official enquiry of the Code of Conduct Commission that recommended removal of life ban on Ata-ur-Rehman, last year.
The ban was imposed on him as a result of the findings of a one-man judicial commission of Pakistan which probed match-fixing charges against Pakistan team in which eight other cricketers including Wasim Akram were penalised.
Sanjrani has served the government of Pakistan in various capacities since 1998.
