Three die of gastroenteritis

GUJRANWALA, July 23: Three children died of gastroenteritis on Monday. Three-year-old Kiran, eight-year-old Mureeb and 10-year-old Marryam died of gastroenteritis at the Civil Hospital. The disease has erupted in the city and its suburbs and dozens of the people have been hospitalised.

District headquarters hospital’s Dr Zahid Jafferi told Dawn under treatment patients were out of danger. He asked the people to drink boiled water and avoid stale food. — Correspondent
