KARACHI, July 23: Four ships carrying soyabean oil and cars are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where over a dozen ships which also included Ocean Frontier, Bulk Arrow to load cement, Gran Hero to offload cars, Sea Brilliance to unload coal, Soraya, Tarpon Santiago to offload DAP fertiliser and Mol Admiration were berthed.

Sailing was also active as a dozen vessels including Grace Shekou, Emirates Meru, Soon Fu, Hayley Nadhi, Bao Xing, Blue Seas, Lalazar, Gran Hero, Champion Arctic and Industrial Dawn departed. While Ocean Frontier, Victory-1 ,Liberty Glory, Sun Flower, Fav Aries, Glorious Leader, Mol Admiration, Oel Spirit, Olympic Serenity, Zhong Hu-7 and Soraya are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.162m tons comprising 42,310 tons of export cargo including 2,704 tons of cement and 16,994 tons of clinker and 0.120m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Glorious Leader with 300 cars, Gagarma Yang with soyabean oil, APL Shennben with containers and You Mai with coal.
