Telephone cabinet blown up

QUETTA, July 15: Hundreds of telephones went out of order in Mastung after unknown people blew up a cabinet on the outskirts of the town on Sunday night.

Police said the bomb had been planted near the telephone cabinet in the Killi Mohammad Shahi area. The explosion caused disconnection of hundreds of telephones in the area.

Meanwhile, a powerful blast damaged a portion of the wall of the DCO House in Mastung. The bomb was planted near the boundary wall which went off with a big bang, resulting in collapse of the wall of the house.
