Revised pay scale notified

ISLAMABAD, July 14: The government on Saturday issued notification with regard to revision of pay scales of government servants from grade one to 22 with effect from July, 1. Notification with regard to pension of civil government servants as well as military personnel was also issued.

In the revised pay scales, grade one official drawing minimum Rs2,150 would now draw Rs2,475 and from maximum Rs4,100 to Rs4,725.

Similarly grade 22 official drawing Rs20,055 would now draw Rs23,065 minimum and a maximum Rs46, 235 from the previous figure of Rs40,215.

Pensioners retiring before July 1, 1997 will get an increase of 20 per cent on the amount of pension presently being drawn.

Those pensioners who retired after July 1, 1997 will be entitled to an increase of 15 per cent on their present pension.
