MMA countrywide protest schedule

LAHORE, July 14: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) on Saturday announced countrywide protest against the killing of students in the Jamia Hafsa-Lal Masjid operation.

The announcement was made by MMA Deputy Secretary-General Liaquat Baloch after consulting heads of other parties in the alliance.

According to the programme, a condolence meeting will be held at Jamia Islamia in Rawalpindi on July 15 at 9am. It will be followed by a joint meeting of the MMA party heads and the heads of religious madrassas.

An ulema convention will be held in Lahore on July 16, in Islamabad on July 19, in Peshawar on July 26, in Muzaffargarh on July 28, in Karachi on Aug 2 and in Quetta on Aug 9.
