Ulema’s role lauded

PESHAWAR, July 13: The NWFP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Sardar Mohammad Idrees, has lauded the role of ulema in promotion of Islamic values in the country.

He was talking to a delegation of Jamiat-i-Ulema Islam (F) from Mansehra led by former senator and district Amir, Hidayatullah Shah that called on him here on Friday. The minister praised the role of ulema for religious harmony in the country.

The delegation apprised the minister of the problems of the area. The minister assured them of quick resolution of the problems.

He said that a considerable increase has been made in the development funds of all the districts of Hazara region including Mansehra.—APP
