KARACHI, July 7: All the officials of Darul Aman, Gulberg, have been transferred in the light of an inquiry report submitted by the director-general, culture. The inquiry was ordered by Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism, Rauf Siddiqi, while taking notice of the escape of a girl, Fatima d/o Hazratullah, from the Darul Aman some time ago.

According to the minister, a show cause notice has been issued to the officials and staff concerned including Assistant Director Mrs Musarrat Arshad and Matron Seema Nazli.

Rauf Siddiqi said the girl, who was later recovered, succeeded in fleeing because of the negligence of the Darul Aman officials.—APP
