NAWABSHAH, Oct 20: During an open kutcheri organized by the Irrigation and Power Department here on Saturday, people made many complaints regarding non-availability of water.

The Secretary, government of Sindh, Muhammad Idris Rajput, assured the people that their grievances would be redressed.

After the open kutcheri, Muhammad Idris Rajput told the newsmen that the federal government had issued Rs900 million for the RBOD.

He said there was no need to construct the Sehwen branch as there was a shortage of water, adding that the ex-chairman of IRSA had not acted upon water sharing agreement of 1991.
