Match Racing Open regatta

KARACHI, July 3: A two-day national Match Racing Open regatta will begin at Islamabad’s Rawal Lake on Friday.

The regatta is being held under the aegis of the PN Sailing Club Islamabad, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

Only Laser 16 boats with a three-member crew aboard will be allowed to sail in the event.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman won the Chairman NSC Optimist boys and girls regatta held at the National Sailing Centre. Pelvesha Khattak stood second in the competition that featured 12 boats.
