Two brigadiers promoted

RAWALPINDI, March 6: Two Brigadiers have been promoted to the rank of Major Generals with effect from the assumption of their new appointments.

Brig Hussain Mehdi has been appointed Pakistan Rangers, Punjab, director-general and Brig Mohammad Saleem has been posted as general officer commanding, army air defence division, according to an ISPR press release issued on Wednesday.

They were approved for the promotion by the recent selection board, it added.—APP
