Four killed

JHANG, July 2: Four members of a family were killed and three others injured after their car caught fire following a head-on collision with a truck at Kuli Faqir, 9km from here on Faisalabad Road on Monday.

Reports said a car was on its way to Bhakkar from Lahore. Near Mansha hotel at Kuli Faqir bus stop, the car driver in a bid to overtake another car lost control over the vehicle and it struck against a truck coming from the opposite side.

The car was badly damaged and caught fire. As a result, Zulfiqar Ali, Saeed Bibi and two children Saleeba Zohra and Saimm Haider were killed on the spot while Mukhtar Husain, Shakeela Bibi and Farzana were admitted to the Jhang DHQ Hospital. — Correspondent
