Nazim presents budget

HYDERABAD, July 1: Latifabad Taluka Nazim Sabir Hussain Kaimkhani on Saturday presented a Rs2.652 million surplus budget with a total outlay of Rs315.835 million for the year 2007-8.

Latifabad's income is estimated at Rs315.709 million but with the addition of its opening balance of Rs2.784 million it will come to Rs318.493 million, 37.60 per cent higher than the outgoing year’s, according to budget estimates. Its revenue income is Rs301.835 million while capital income is Rs13.873 million. The revised estimates of 2006-07 put the income at Rs203.660 million and expenditures at Rs200.875 million. The TMA has also got an opening balance of Rs6.3 million after close of fiscal year.

The expenditures are estimated at Rs315.835 million, 37.58 higher than previous year’s while non-development expenditures stand at Rs214.335 million and development budget at Rs101.500 million.
