KARACHI, June 29: Six ships carrying vegetable oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was brisk where five ships, Admiral Arrow, Saida to load cement, Hyundai Future, Gulf Bridge and Iran Hesabi to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Y.M. Sun, Sinar Bandung, Y.M. Faha, Premier Pride, Rose and Valentine, while Hyundai Future, Gulf Pride, Split, Calvin P. Titus, Igwt, Atlantic Arrow, Iran Hesabi and Oel Esteem are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 80,879 tons comprising 24,952 tons of export cargo and 55,920 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Johar with crude oil, Global Union with 2,800 tons of vegetable oil, Jade Trader, Oel Shroyns, Milos with containers and Iron Butterfly with project cargo.
