CHAKWAL, June 28: A father allegedly killed two of his sons while the third managed to escape. The incident took place at village Murali, some 50 kilometres from here in the jurisdiction of Saddar police station, Talagang.

Accused Akbar Khan took his sons — Faheem, 11, Waseem 8, and Ziaur Rehman, 6, — along with him and told his wife that he was going to admit Faheem in a nearby village school, however, when they reached near a well he threw the two minor boys into it but the third one, Faheem, managed to escape. Faheem reported the matter to his mother Ghulam Begum who immediately went to the police station and lodged an FIR.—Online
