VEHARI, March 5: Opposition members of the district council protested on Tuesday against the attitude of Nazim’s group.

Speaking at a press conference, leaders of the opposition group, Mian Mumtaz Wattoo, Usman Warraich and Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry, condemned the behaviour of district Nazim Mumtaz Khichi and Naib Nazim Syed Sajid Mehdi Saleem.

They claimed that they were being mistreated and the development schemes proposed by union council Nazims had not been approved on account of political differences.

They alleged that the district Naib Nazim wanted to spend the funds through defeated candidates of his group.

They also complained that the politicians, including a defeated candidate for Burewala tehsil Nazim, had been inducted into market committees.
