Flour mills robbed

LAHORE, June 25: Four robbers plundered a flour mill in Harbanspura on Monday. They barged into Shalimar Flour Mill in Kotli Pir Abdul Rehman, held the employees at gunpoint, locked them in a room and took away Rs250,000 in cash.

Two gunmen burst into a cell phone shop at Gujjarpura Chowk, held the owner at gunpoint, collected Rs25,000 in cash and 20 cell phones and escaped.

Two outlaws deprived a man of Rs450,000 in cash at gunpoint in Kot Lakhpat.

Two motorcyclists intercepted a woman and her daughter in A-1 Block in Johar Town and deprived them of jewellery.

Two gun-totting men stopped a citizen in Sodiwal on Multan Road and deprived him of Rs3,000 in cash, a cell phone and gold chain.

Two armed men stormed into the shop of Jamil at GOR-I and took away thousands of rupees in cash.

Two robbers burst into the shop of Wasim at Landa Bazaar and snatched cash, a cell phone and a mauser.

Two robbers stopped Rashid on College Road in Shalimar and snatched cash at gunpoint.

Two armed men deprived Salamat of his motorcycle (LWL-7621) in Islampura.

STOLEN: Four motorcycles were stolen from Racecourse, Gulberg, City Raiwind and Firdaus Market.

ARRESTS: Police claimed on Monday to have arrested three criminals and seized a stolen car from them.

The police said the accused had confessed to their involvement in 13 acts of car lifting during preliminary interrogation.

According to police, a team led by Shadman investigation in charge gathered information about Sher Ali alias Sheru’s gang and arrested its three members, including a woman, on a tip-off.
