Kidnappers held with ransom

SHEIKHUPURA, June 21: Muridke city police arrested two alleged kidnappers along with Rs500,000 ransom on Thursday. Police said Amir and Nasrullah, residents of Hadoki village, had kidnapped their neighbour Tayyab a couple of days ago.

They later demanded Rs500,000 ransom from the victim’s father. However, he brought the situation into the notice of police concerned.

Police got information about the hideout of the accused and arrested them.

Further investigations are underway.
