PESHAWAR, June 20: Federal Minister for Political Affairs and NWFP president of PML Ameer Muqam, while castigating the power-sharing formula of the leadership sitting out of the country, said they were making castles in the air just to hoodwink the masses.

Talking to PML delegations from Mardan, Mansehra, Karak, Kohistan and Shangla, the federal minister said that the development projects completed during the last eight years were unprecedented in the history of the country.

He claimed the federal budget was welfare-oriented, pro-people, pro-labourers and pro-peasants which would help expedite the country's development and would prove to be a catalyst in effecting basic changes in the quality of life of the people.

He said that due to effective monitoring of the development projects in the NWFP the pace of work had been expedited on these.

He told the delegations that work was in progress on the development projects initiated under the federal government in the education, communication, health, irrigation, electrification sectors and provision of Sui gas.

The Karak delegation was led by PML leader Ayub Khan Khattak, the Mansehra delegation by MNA Sardar Shah Jehan, the Mardan delegation by Ehsan Bacha, the Kohistan delegation by Aurangzeb and the Shangla delegation by Haji Mohammad Zahir Shah.
