KARACHI, June 20: Three ships carrying DAP fertiliser, containers and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Asian Queen to load cement, Effy-N to unload coal, Scotland and Conti-Germany to unload and load containers, Pacific Express and Al-Jaber to unload and load general cargo were berthed on Wednesday.

Four ships, Mol Ability, China Star, Pontica and B-Europa departed on Wednesday, while Pacific Express, Swat, APL Sokhna, Scotland, Pontonikis, Harmony, Johar, Conti Germany and Dream Beauty are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side as the total tonnage swelled to 0.125m tons comprising 10,370 tons of export cargo and 0.115m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Viscaya to load 24,950 tons of molasses, CMA CGM Gardenia to unload and load containers and Jon Jin-2 with 24,403 tons of DAP fertiliser.
