Sushma due on 7th

NEW DELHI, March 3: India’s Information Minister Sushma Swaraj is expected to leave for Islamabad on the morning of March 7, to attend the SAARC information ministers’ conference to be inaugurated by President Gen Pervez Musharraf on the same afternoon.

The three-day conference will deliberate on a host of issues including information and communication technology and identify steps for boosting regional cooperation.

When contacted, PIO Ms Krishna said the final programme of the visit of the Indian minister will be made known on Monday. Asked whether the minister will leave by special aircraft or take a flight via Dubai, Ms Krishna said it will also be decided and known on Monday.—APP
