Fire in warehouse

LAHORE, June 11: Valuables worth millions of rupees reduced to ashes when fire broke out in a warehouse in a multi-storey plaza in the Mochi Gate area owing to short circuit on Monday morning. However, no loss of life or injury was reported.

Eyewitnesses, Rescue 1122 and police said the fire also caused power suspension in the Shah Alam Market as it burnt wires and partially damaged a transformer. —Staff Reporter
