ISLAMABAD, March 3: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has met the target of making 0.1 million fresh members in February while the party’s lower tiers in various parts of the country were hectically engaged in enrolling another 0.5 million new members in the next two months.

This was claimed by PAT’s central secretary-general, Anwar Hussain Alvi, during a meeting of the party’s district leadership.

The district presidents of Pakistan Awami Tehreek gave the progress report of their respective districts regarding enrolment of fresh voters and preparation for the next general elections.

The central secretary-general informed that for gearing up the election campaign, political committees would be activated at the district level and these committees would furnish their progress report on fortnightly basis to the party’s Central Secretariat.
