Crackdown on POs

GUJRANWALA, June 10: Regional Police Officer Saud Aziz has ordered an operation clean-up against proclaimed offenders and criminals in five districts of the Region-II to maintain law and order.

Speaking at a meeting of district police officers of Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Gujrat and Gujranwala on Sunday, he warned that police officers who fail to arrest criminals would be taken to task. He claimed police performance was improving following implementation of the Police Order of 2002. He urged them crack down on criminals without any fear.
