Published June 11, 2007

KARACHI, June 10: Analysing the fast-track growth in Information Technology sector in less than five years, the Europe-based IT giants are now focussing on business opportunities in Sindh.

This was stated by the Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister for Information Technology, Mohammad Noman Saigal, while talking to journalists at his office. He said that European companies had also been encouraged due to the highest returns in telecommunication sector. Mr Saigal said European companies satisfied with healthy working environment in Sindh had enhanced foreign investment during these five years. This was the result of the efforts made by the provincial government and outstanding performance of the district governments, he added.—PPI
