ISLAMABAD, June 9: An amount of Rs579.29 million has been allocated in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2007- 08 for the construction and furnishing of a high security block at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The new office block equipped with modern facilities will cater to the growing needs of the Foreign Office.

Rs384.29 million will be spent on the ongoing construction project, while Rs195 million on its furnishing and the conference hall.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs800 million, of which Rs185.71 had been spent till June 2007.
