Arrests: AAG summoned

LAHORE, June 8: The Lahore High Court on Friday directed Additional Advocate General Amar Raza Khan to appear before it after seeking instructions from the government with respect to arrests and detentions of political workers.

The judge gave the directions during the preliminary hearing of a petition filed by PML-N provincial president Sirdar Zulfiqar Khosa for the release of 70 party workers picked up from 35 districts during the ongoing crackdown.
