Two more killed in tribal feud

SHIKARPUR, May 31: Two more men were shot dead and two women seriously injured in the ongoing tribal clash between Brohis and Marfanis in the Garhi Yasin area on Thursday.

Reports received here said that two groups of armed men, belonging to Brohi and Marfani tribes, attacked each other with automatic weapons in Sher Mohammad Brohi and Shahim Marfani villages.

As a result, Shahbaz Brohi and Mohammad Bux Marfani were killed and Fatul Marfani and her daughter Rani received bullet injuries.

A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and an encounter took place between the police and armed persons in which constable Ghulam Asghar Narejo received serious injuries.

Those injured were referred to a Larkana hospital after getting first aid at a Shikarpur hospital.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.

About 120 lives have been lost in the tribal feud so far.
