Indus body meets today

NEW DELHI, May 30: A four-day annual meeting of the permanent Indus Commission will be held here on Thursday to discuss matters relating to rivers flowing from India to Pakistan and objections raised by Pakistan on Kishan Ganga and Uri-2 hydro-electric power projects.

Syed Jamaat Ali Shah, Indus Water Commissioner led by a nine-member team, will represent Pakistan while Dr Tharaeja will represent India.—APP
