LAHORE, March 1: As many as 21 probables from Punjab were selected to finalise the Pakistan Under-17 and Under-20 teams for the two Asia Cup qualifying round to be held in April and May this year.

The probables were picked at the conclusion of the two-day trials held at the Iqbal Parks on Thursday and Friday.

The Under-20 qualifying round will be held at Karachi from the last week of April. While the Under-17 round will be played at abroad also in May.

The final trials will be held at Islamabad, most probably in the last week of the current month, after completing the provincial round of trials.

Fifteen probables were selected for the Under-17 and six for Under-20.

Under-17: Muhammad Salim, Qamar Rizwan, Muhammad Akram, Omar Farooq, Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Hanif, Sajid, Imran Gill, Farooq Ahmad, Altaf Ali, Kamran Khan, Anwar Husain, Samiullah, Wasim Abbas, Wasim Soofi.

Under-20: Shahid, Muhammad Arif, Irfan, Shahzad, Arif Mahmood and Shahid Gill.
