KARACHI: Family robbed

KARACHI, May 27: A family was robbed of their valuables upon return from Umra on Sunday.

Police said that as soon as Mrs Iqbal Bashir and her family reached their house in Defence area, the armed bandits who were following them from the airport, held them at gunpoint and took away the luggage they were carrying.

SUICIDE: A jobless man committed suicide by jumping off the Native Jetty bridge on Sunday.

Police said Arshad, 35, a resident of Liaquatabad, had been without a job for long. His body was fished out and shifted to hospital.
