Villagers beat up vaccinators

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), May 24: People of Fatemikhel village of Landi Kotal on Thursday beat up polio vaccinators and did not allow them to administer drops to their children.

Local cleric Rohul Amin, had asked the people to block the entry of the vaccinators to the village. He said oral polio vaccines were against Islam.

Meanwhile, people of another village, Ghundikhel, complained that the vaccinators had not visited their children despite their requests.
