SAHIWAL, May 24: The Punjab Bar Council vice-chairman along with four members and bars office-bearers from Pakpattan, Okara, Sialkot and Deepalpur took out a procession here on Thursday to protest against police attack on their Sahiwal colleagues.

Addressing the rally, PBC vice-chairman Tariq Javed Warriach, members Rana Abdul Shakoor, Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal, Tahir Shabbir, Zulfiqar Ahmed, Sialkot DBA secretary Ali Najam Gilani, Okara bar president Maqbool Husain, Pakpattan bar chief Ejaz Khan Baloch and others expressed their solidarity with Sahiwal lawyers.

The office-bearers said their struggle would continue till the independence of the judiciary in the country.
