Aaj TV attack condemned

KARACHI, May 24: The All Pakistan Newspapers Society has condemned the May 12 attack on the offices of Business Recorder and Aaj TV and urged the federal government to institute a judicial inquiry into the matter and evolve a rapid response system to provide security and protection to the premises of media establishments and to the life of mediamen, says a press statement issued on Thursday.

According to the statement, APNS Secretary-General Mohammad Aslam Kazi announced that the executive committee had considered the report of the facts-finding commission on receipt of complaint of violence against daily Business Recorder and Aaj TV.
