KCDABA polls next month

Published May 23, 2007

KARACHI, May 22: The executive committee of the Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABA) will meet at Nishtar Park court on Thursday at 7pm to decide date for holding quadrennial elections sometime next month.

The proposed date will be put up before general council of the association for endorsement.

The game has suffered a lot at the national level due to formerly ad hoc committee for the last several years. Even the elections on the orders of Supreme Court last year has failed to revive the game.

The omission of basketball from 30th National Games is a glaring example in this regard.
