KARACHI, May 22: Asad Ali’s brilliant unbeaten century helped Mir Sports outclass New United Gymkhana by eight wickets in an NBP-KCCA Super League club tournament match here on Monday at the Asifabad Sports Ground.

Studded with 20 fours and a six, Asad’s unbeaten 135 steered his team to the target of 220 in just 32 overs as they lost only two wickets. Earlier, New United Gymkhana, batting first, scored 220-8 in the stipulated 50 overs.

In the meantime, Al-Mansoora Sports Club registered a thrilling one-wicket victory over Rafiq Sherazi Memorial Cricket Club at the KCCA Stadium. S. Farooq captured four wickets for the winners.
