New GPA chairman

ISLAMABAD, May 21: Commodore Mohammad Ehsan Saeed has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral and appointed chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA). He succeeds Rear Admiral Ahsan ul Haque who has retired.

Rear Admiral Ehsan Saeed was commissioned in the operations branch of the Navy in 1976. He has served on board ships and in naval aviation in various operational capacities.

On staff assignments, he has been senior personal staff to the chief of naval staff and director-general of naval intelligence.
