PESHAWAR: Storm disrupts Pesco system

PESHAWAR, May 19: Power supply remained disrupted to many areas on Saturday after a heavy dust-storm damaged installations of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) at several places in the city on Friday. According to a press release on Saturday, a Pesco spokesman said that at least 110 electricity poles, 20 transformers, three pylons and hundreds of meters of electricity wires were damaged due to the storm.—Bureau Report
