HYDERABAD, Feb 28: A young man immolated himself on Wednesday.

The youth, Aslam, son of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Kali Mori, self-immolated following some domestic dispute. He suffered more than 90 per cent burn injuries.

There were conflicting accounts of the incident. His father told the police, deputed at the medico legal section of the hospital, that his son received burn injuries from a stove. However, Rashid himself claimed that he tried to commit suicide. No case has so far been registered.

SNATCHED: Two unidentified armed bandits snatched a CG-125 motorcycle (HDM-3754) in Unit No9 Latifabad from one Syed Fahad Shah.

Mr Shah was the son of Irshad Ali Shah, an employee of the Pakistan Oil Seed Development Board. A case has been registered at the B-section police station on the complaint of Irshad Shah.
