WASHINGTON, Feb 28: US Secretary of State Colin Powell on Wednesday expressed America’s “rededication” to the objective of fighting terrorism.
He said terrorism must be destroyed, and “this aim would be pursued with determination and patience”.
Mr Powell was speaking at a press preview of a photo exhibition on Ground Zero, the site of the destroyed Twin Towers, on Wednesday. The exhibition features 28 photographs from a collection of more than 5,000 taken by Joel Meyerowitz, who had unlimited access to the site.
It is planned to send the exhibition for a tour abroad to several cities, including Islamabad.
